Mineral Composite

Material like no other.

Under extreme heat and pressure, limestone strata were converted into dolomite. This stone has outstanding qualities and is exceedingly tough and durable.

Technology has allowed the rock produced millions of years ago to be transformed into durable and elegant modern inventions.

Dolomite and resin work together to give our Mineral Composite an unmatched level of durability and impact resistance. Additionally, the resin offers countless design options for moulding objects manufactured with this technique.

Its principal component is calcium and magnesium carbonate, a crystalline mineral that is snow-white in colour. The amazing qualities of dolomite are extensively used in the substance known as Mineral Composite.

Our products are coated in a nano-coat gel applied to the outside surface to provide more durability.

The surface of wind turbine blades and boat hulls, which are constantly in touch with the elements of wind and water, also receive this kind of coating.

Why Mineral Composite?

Mineral composite resin has revolutionised the bathware market. Other more common materials used in today’s bathware market can’t compare to the superiority of Mineral Composite resin.

Here is how VALHA’s Mineral Composite resin stacks up against the rest.

Acrylic

Ceramic

100% customisable colours/shapes/textures, innovation for your bathroom

High heat retention and soft to the touch maximising comfort.

Mineral Composite resin has a maximum non-slip level, increasing safety.

Mineral Composite is more resistant to damage than acrylic or ceramic. The nano-coat layer also provides protection against wear.

Fewer selection of colours and limited to one texture.

Heat retention less efficient than Mineral Composite.

Medium slip-level cannot meet higher slip standards.

Damages are not repairable like Mineral Composite and is more difficult to clean.

Vey limited design options available.

No heat retention making ceramic cold to the touch.

Virtually no slip rating.

Fragile material making it not resistant against impact or scrathes.
